ABOUT US
The brothers and sisters of I.O.O.F Prestonsburg Lodge 293 are dedicated to enriching our community through charity, education, historic preservation, and an unyielding commitment to friendship, love, and truth. We strive to follow the rule of our ancient motto to "visit the sick, relieve the distressed, bury the dead, and educate the orphan."
OUR VISION
Our vision is a community that works together for the betterment and elevation of one another in the understanding that we are only as stong as the least of of us.
WHAT WE DO
At Lodge 293 we support our community in a variety of ways from charitable giving to promoting the arts and creativity. We embrace our Appalachian heritage and seek to carry on our unique traditions.
OUR COMMUNITY
Our community of Odd Fellows encompasses the variety of our community. We are men and women of all ages, backgrounds, and political ideologies united in the mutual goal of living a life that is defined by giving and teaching.
Our History
Prestonsburg I.O.O.F Lodge 293 received its charter in 1890 and has been dedicated to serving the community of Prestonsburg and Floyd County, Kentucky for over a century. Many of the community's most notable, reputable, and honorable citizens have led and served as dedicated members of the "three ring fraternity".

Operating side-by-side and in collaboration with I.O.O.F Lodge 293 for most of the lodge's existence was the all female Rebecka Lodge which was incorporated into I.O.O.F Lodge 293 after the Sovereign Grand Lodge allowed all I.O.O.F lodges to be co-ed in 2001. I.O.O.F Lodge 293 is proud to function on an egalitarian basis with full membership granted to both men and women who are sufficiently odd.

While the Prestonsburg Lodge has had its ups and downs over the past century with a rising and falling membership, Lodge 293 now looks forward to a bright future with an impressive roll call of dedicated servants emboldened and empowered to live out the oath of friendship, love, and truth.
